Join our dynamic team in the utilities sector based in Jackson MI, managing critical grid infrastructure updates. As a Project/Program Manager, you will support the execution of our Substation Capital Investment Program under the direction of the Principal Program Manager. In this role, you will oversee a complex portfolio of substation capital projects and work orders from inception through execution to ensure grid reliability and modernization.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field, alongside 5 years of experience in project/program management, utility operations, or construction management. You must demonstrate a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously, utilizing strong project controls, and navigating complex risk environments. Exceptional stakeholder management, communication skills, and data analysis capabilities are required, with PMP certification and Primavera P6/SAP experience highly preferred.

responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse portfolio of substation projects, developing integrated program schedules, forecasts, and execution plans.
- Align activities across Engineering, Construction, Supply Chain, Environmental, and external stakeholders.
- Monitor cost, scope, and quality while driving annual capital planning, monthly forecasting, and risk mitigation.
- Develop executive-level reports, KPI dashboards, and deliver regular performance metrics to senior leadership.
- Facilitate stage-gate reviews, outage planning, resource allocation, and commissioning activities.
