job summary:
Join a multi-billion dollar manufacturing organization for a contract-to-hire role as a Mechanical Engineer. This role will be responsible for mechanical design engineering for hardware projects. Candidates will execute project plans and documentation of work and test results. Candidates should have experience with Creo, PLM/PDM systems, GD&T and designing server rack. This is an opportunity that could lead to a full time role with an organization seeing massive growth.

responsibilities:
- Ensure all designs meet strict requirements for manufacturing efficiency and commercial profitability
- Create 3D CAD Models, assemblies, and surfacing using Creo
- Produce technical 2D drawings with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing for manufacturing
- Perform simulations and analysis to validate design fuctionality and strength
- Create BOMs, manage revisions in Product Data Management systems
Qualifications
- Proficient with Creo
- Experience with PLM/PDM systems, preferably Windchill
- GD&T and tolerance stack-up knowledge
- Experience designing server racks
