responsibilities:
- What is the purpose of this team?
- What is driving this need? (ex. Backfill for FTE or CW, new project, business growth)
- Describe the surrounding team (team culture, work environment, etc.) & key projects.
- Do you have any additional upcoming hiring needs or is this request part of a larger hiring initiative? - Positions support the Centene production datacenter in O'Fallon, MO as part of our 24/7 production systems coverage requirements
- Position is approved backfill for FTE leaving for VSP
- Position is overnight datacenter operations support at O'Fallon datacenter supporting IT teams with escorts, installations, decommissions, troubleshooting, CHG Mgmt tasks, etc
Typical Day in the Role
- Walk me through the day-to-day responsibilities and a description of the project (Outside of the Workday JD).
- What are the performance expectations/metrics?
- What makes this role unique? - Monitoring various systems throughout the evening and doing rounds through the datacenter areas to maintain support
- Address various tickets in ServiceNow for IT hardware installations, decommissions, copper/fiber cable installations, assist troubleshooting & triage for IT hardware
- Monitor alerts from branch office equipment and work with remote staff to address issues
