Job Summary
Join a dynamic team at the forefront of energy infrastructure design. This role oversees the critical coordination between utility service providers and internal stakeholders to deliver substation and transmission line projects that power the future of technology.
location: Boydton, Virginia

salary: $73.06 - 83.06 per hour
work hours: 8am to 5pm
education: Bachelors
Responsibilities
Facilitate regular design and site progress meetings with Energy Teams, DCD, DCE, and AHJ.
Manage utility scope sign-offs and ensure all drawings are reviewed and approved via Adobe Sign/DocuSign.
Document and track tasks such as agreements, deeds, and easements to ensure successful project completion.
Establish and manage project budgets, cost estimates, purchase orders, and change management processes.
Publish and maintain detailed project schedules in Microsoft Project, identifying critical path activities and milestones.
Conduct weekly site walks to verify substation civil completion and document progress with photos.
Submit energization safety plans and lead pre-energization site walks with stakeholders and Energy Marshals.
Coordinate with Utility Service Providers to verify all work is within scope prior to proceeding.
Qualifications
Extensive experience in Project Management specifically within the Utility industry.
Proven track record managing substation and transmission line projects.
Expert ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings.
Must be able to work core Eastern Time (ET) hours.
Preferred Qualifications
Background in Electrical Engineering.
Proficiency in Bluebeam, P6, or AutoCAD.
Previous experience supporting data center construction or operational workstreams.
