Responsibilities

• Perform specialized Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding on various gauges of stainless steel material according to engineering drawings and specifications.

• Read and accurately interpret complex blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine appropriate welding processes and measurements.

• Set up, adjust, and operate welding equipment, ensuring all parameters (amperage, voltage, gas flow, travel speed) are correctly maintained for specific projects.

• Inspect work for defects, measure finished products to ensure conformance to quality standards, and correct imperfections as necessary.

• Grind, cut, and finish welds to a smooth, clean surface finish, meeting the aesthetic and functional requirements of stainless steel fabrication.

• Maintain and clean welding equipment, ensuring a well-organized and safe work area.

• Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
