We are currently looking for an experienced Full-time Quality Inspector to join our team. This role is for a company that manufactures and provides precision gears and machined components for space, aerospace, government, and industrial sectors. ob Requirements and Skills ️
Experience & Education: High school diploma or equivalent with 3 years of quality inspection experience.
Additional experience performing detailed inspection functions is preferred.
Technical Knowledge:
Thorough knowledge and ability to apply knowledge of quality systems such as, Aerospace Standard (AS9100/AS9110). * Ability to read, interpret, and apply various technical data such as prints, specifications.
Ability to use specialized inspection and hand tools.
Analytical Skills:
Ability to collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; prepare metrics and summarize findings.
Ability to develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present information, concepts, and proposals to a wide range of audiences (internal and external, technical or non-technical).
Software: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn and use other applications including Adobe Acrobat.
Work Style:
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work under minimal direction while frequently exercising good judgment.
Must be solution-oriented but committed to consistency and process.
Pay: Hourly pay rate will be commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities
The Quality Inspector will primarily focus on ensuring the integrity of production, processes, and issue resolution within the Quality system.
Inspection and Quality Control:
- Perform preliminary, receiving, in-process, and final article inspections to identify hidden damage, non-conformance, and ensure work meets quality standards.
- Ensure work has been accomplished in accordance with the appropriate data, defined processes, and applicable regulations.
- Work closely with Operator Quality and Production to ensure maintenance and repair work follows applicable customer requirements, company policy, and regulatory agencies.
System Integrity and Improvement:
- Maintain the credibility of the Quality system by making sound decisions supported by the Quality Assurance Manager.
- Use proper problem-solving techniques to address issues, and suggest changes, improvements, or updates to procedures related to inspection processes and the quality management system.
Collaboration and Training:
- Work closely with all Quality and Shop Operations employees to provide recommendations, information, training, and mentoring.
- Provide solution-oriented assistance to other teams and employees.
