We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Clerk with a background in machining and machine operation troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in maintaining accurate inventory levels of materials, parts, and finished goods, while also leveraging their technical expertise to support machine operators and ensure minimal downtime. Technical Support & Troubleshooting:
Apply machining knowledge to identify, inspect, and organize specialized tools and components used in CNC and manual machining processes.
- Proven experience (2 years) in an inventory control, stockroom, or logistics role, preferably in a manufacturing or machine shop environment.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical and operational issues on production machinery.
- computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is essential for tracking and reporting)
salary: $18 - $18.01 per hour

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities
Inventory Management (Primary Focus):
Manage and maintain accurate inventory counts of raw materials, parts, tools, and finished products using our inventory management system (e.g., barcoding, cycle counting).
Perform daily cycle counts and conduct periodic physical inventory audits to reconcile discrepancies.
Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming materials and supplies, verifying against purchase orders and ensuring quality standards are met.
Organize and maintain the stockroom and warehouse, ensuring all items are properly stored, labeled, and easily accessible.
Prepare and issue materials and components to production work centers based on work orders.
