Randstad is partnering with a high-growth, publicly-traded infrastructure company is seeking a Fixed Asset Migration Consultant to support a high-volume system transition. This role is ideal for a CPA or Senior Auditor who thrives in data-heavy environments and possesses a rigorous approach to documentation and audit compliance. You will work directly with the Project Lead to ensure 300,000 assets are accurately migrated from NetAsset to Bloomberg Fixed Assets.

Responsibilities

• Technical Migration: Execute data migration of 300k assets, ensuring field mapping and system rules are applied correctly.

• Audit-Ready Documentation: Create a detailed "paper trail" of the migration process, documenting verification steps from legacy system extraction to final system load.

• Parallel Testing: Conduct parallel runs between systems and perform comprehensive reconciliations to ensure data integrity.

• Variance Analysis: Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies found during the testing phases.

• Internal Support: Provide support to the Project Lead, assisting with manual data verification and system configuration as needed.

Requirements:

• Experience: 5 years of experience in Accounting or Audit. Previous experience with a Public Company audit environment is preferred.

• System Knowledge: Proven experience participating in a system conversion or large-scale data migration. Proficiency in Bloomberg Fixed Assets or NetAsset is a significant advantage.

• Data Proficiency: Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query) is required to manage and reconcile high volumes of data.

• The "Auditor’s Lens": Ability to work with an eye toward compliance; ensuring all steps are documented to withstand external audit scrutiny.

• Availability: Able to commit to a part-time schedule (5–20 hours/week) and attend a kickoff meeting in Las Vegas in early January.
