AR Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist to join our client's accounting team. The primary focus of this role is to ensure the timely collection of payments, accurate record-keeping, and the maintenance of healthy customer relationships.

Note: Proficiency in NetSuite is a mandatory requirement for this position.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Invoice Management: Generate and distribute accurate customer invoices and credit memos within NetSuite.

• Payment Processing: Ensure all entries are applied to the correct accounts.

• Collections: Monitor aging reports and proactively follow up with customers regarding overdue balances via phone and email.

• Dispute Resolution: Investigate and resolve customer billing discrepancies or payment inquiries efficiently.

• Reconciliation: Assist with month-end closing activities, including reconciling AR sub-ledgers to the general ledger.

• Data Integrity: Maintain accurate customer master files and contact information within the ERP system.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Software Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience using NetSuite ERP (specifically the AR/Billing modules).

• Education: High school diploma required

• Technical Skills: strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables).

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for professional collections outreach.

• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
