Teaches Project Lead the Way Design and Modeling and Computer Science for Innovators and MakersDemonstrates strong knowledge of Massachusetts Science Curriculum Frameworks.Promotes the learning and growth of all students by providing high-quality and coherent instructionDemonstrates instructional and management practices that establish high expectations and create a safe and effective classroom environment.Adapts instruction, materials, and assessments to make challenging material accessible to all students, including English learners and students with disabilities.Reflects on the effectiveness of lessons, units, and interactions with students, both individually and with colleagues, and uses insights gained to improve practice and student learning.Participates in school-wide and subject specific professional development and grade level team times.Promotes the learning and growth of all students through ethical, culturally proficient, skilled, and collaborative practice.Uses informal and formal assessment methods and feedback practices to measure and improve student learning and growth.Uses data to inform instruction, monitor progress, and identify students in need of targeted instruction/interventions.Motivates and engages students and promotes opportunities for students to generate understanding on their own through real world applications.Uses inclusive instructional practices to account for differences in students learning needs.Promotes collaboration and student engagement in the context of science instruction and learning experiences.Participate in PLTW training over the summerPerform other duties as deemed appropriate by the Building Principal and/or Curriculum CoordinatorTerms: In Accordance with the Unit A Contract Reports To: Principal
