Position Title: Receiving Associate (AM)

Position Schedule: Sunday 7:00 AM Monday-Thursday PM 12:00PM, Full Time; Non-Exempt

Pay Rate: $17.00/hour to $18.00/hour DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE

Job Summary

Rancho Foods’ Receiving Associate bears the responsibility of assisting with Receiving related functions included, but not limited to: scheduling incoming deliveries, reviewing Bills of Lading, unloading trucks, scanning received product, communicating with buyers regarding loads, and conferring with the Rotation Department about new product.

Essential Functions

Receiving Functions

· Check the system for existing Purchase Orders for incoming trucks

· Organize incoming loads according to available dock doors

· Perform product counts

· Match Bill of Ladings with truck arrivals and corresponding purchase orders

· Checking truck temperatures for quality assurance & health regulation purposes

· Unloading trucks in a safe and efficient manner

· Re-lumping boxes, labeling, scanning, and wrapping

Job Qualifications

Minimum of one year’s experience in a warehouse environment

Ability to operate an electric rider pallet-jack and/or forklift

*Knowledge of meat and/or meat products is a PLUS

*Prior work in a work environment under 25° F is a PLUS

*Ability to speak Spanish is a PLUS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time, move constantly around the warehouse, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and/or telephone system. This position requires proper bending, reaching, and lifting techniques. The individual in this position must be able to lift weights up to ninety pounds.
