We are seeking an energetic and vigilant Access Control Officer to join our team on a full-time basis. This role involves managing entry points, monitoring security systems, and ensuring the safety of personnel and property during scheduled shifts. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a secure environment through effective access management and surveillance. Responsibilities

• Authorize and verify access for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors in accordance with established procedures
• Monitor security systems including CCTV cameras to oversee all activity at entry points and surrounding areas
• Conduct visual inspections of individuals entering the premises to prevent theft, unauthorized access, or security breaches
• Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies by coordinating with law enforcement or emergency responders as necessary
• Maintain accurate records of all access logs, shift reports, incident reports, and surveillance footage audits
• Enforce loss prevention measures by identifying suspicious behavior and managing conflict situations effectively
• Perform routine checks on security equipment such as CCTV systems, alarms, and communication devices to ensure optimal operation

Qualifications

• Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred
• Knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV), conflict management, and loss prevention techniques
• Certifications in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), or law enforcement training are advantageous
• Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing conflicts or emergency situations
• Strong observational skills with attention to detail for surveillance and access control tasks
• Excellent communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and professionally
