We're hiring a Director of Nursing (DON) for a skilled nursing facility (SNF) in Toms River, NJ. The salary for this Director of Nursing position is $155,000 to $175,000 a year.
This is a role for someone who has already sat in the Director of Nursing chair. Prior experience as a Director of Nursing in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) / nursing home is required. What You'll Do
Lead the entire nursing department and set the standard for resident care
Hire, train, and supervise the nursing staff, including Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
Keep the facility survey-ready and in compliance with state and federal regulations
Work closely with the Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) and the rest of the leadership team
Oversee clinical quality, care planning, and nursing policies and procedures
Qualifications
Active New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) license
Must have previously worked as a Director of Nursing (DON) in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) / long-term care (LTC) / nursing home setting
