Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Staffing Recruiter to join our fast-growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-volume recruiting, with the ability to execute strategic hiring initiatives that support our mass recruitment efforts. This role is critical in ensuring that open positions are filled with top-tier talent within project timelines.
Key responsibilities include sourcing and recruiting skilled tradespeople nationwide, screening and shortlisting candidates, and promoting job openings across the organization. The successful candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and capable of meeting daily staffing goals in a fast-paced environment.
This is a full-time, exempt salaried position reporting directly to the Staffing & Recruitment Manager.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute high-impact recruitment strategies to attract a large pool of qualified candidates.
- Source candidates through various channels including databases, social media, job boards, employee referrals, and career fairs.
- Screen, interview, and evaluate candidates based on skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Collaborate with department managers to forecast hiring needs and coordinate workforce scheduling.
- Create and maintain recruitment processes and performance metrics aligned with business goals.
- Represent the company at career fairs, college recruiting events, and other outreach initiatives.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and make data-driven improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws.
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions.
- Draft internal communications and respond to employee inquiries as needed.
- Generate reports and updates for management.
- Maintain and update applicant tracking systems and candidate databases.
- Coordinate onboarding activities and ensure smooth transitions for new hires.
- Assist with workforce planning and talent pipeline development.
- Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives in recruitment efforts.
- Partner with marketing to enhance employer branding and promote job openings.
- Provide training and guidance to hiring managers on interview techniques and candidate evaluation.
- Stay current on labor market trends, recruitment technologies, and best practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 5–7 years of recruiting experience (preferred, not required), preferably in high-volume or staffing environments.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial construction recruitment.
- Familiarity with skilled trades and labor market trends.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Experience in mining, maintenance services, or construction is a plus.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
- Ability to exercise discretion and sound judgment in sensitive matters.
- Commitment to upholding company policies and procedures.
Work Environment:
