Ralph Sellers Automotive Group, is growing and looking to add an Experienced Accountant to join their Accounting team located in Gonzales, LA. Responsibilities:
- Record retail sales and cost of sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Review deals for completeness, accurate, and required documentation
- Ensure payoffs are processed accurately and timely to receive title
- Calculate salesmen commissions and bonuses for monthly settle-up
- Reconcile semi-monthly payroll for technicians
- Warranty, Gap, ancillary products remittance and cancellations weekly
- Prepare schedule adjustments, reconciliations, and month-end closing tasks
- Support Accounts Payable and Billing to ensure expenses are posted to correct accounts
- Communicate with F&I, Sales, Accounting managers to resolve any discrepancies
- Work closely with accounting staff
- Support other team members and departments as needed
- Required: Minimum of two years in an advanced level accounting role
- High school diploma or GED required
- Automotive and CDK or DealerTrack experience is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
