Position Summary
The Accountant is responsible for assisting the Controller with supporting the financial operations of the laboratory medical practice by maintaining accurate financial records, handling accounts payable and invoicing, preparing reports, assisting with month-end close, assisting the Human Resources Manager with payroll duties as needed and ensuring compliance with healthcare accounting standards and regulatory requirements. This position works closely with the Controller.

• General Accounting (Healthcare-Specific Accounting is a PLUS)
• Accounts Payable & Receivable Support
• Budgeting & Reporting
• Audit & Compliance
• Manual data entry, reconciliation, and record-keeping processes
Qualifications
Education
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
Experience
• 5-8 years of accounting experience required
• Experience in healthcare, medical practice, or laboratory accounting preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Hours are 7:30AM -4PM Monday - Friday
