GI Division Administrator – Gastroenterology
Raleigh, NC | In-Office/Hybrid
Lead operational excellence in specialty care.
Raleigh Medical Group is seeking an experienced and strategic Gastroenterology (GI) Administrator to oversee the daily operations and long-term success of our GI division. This leadership role is responsible for operational management, financial oversight, staff leadership, and strategic planning while supporting exceptional patient care and provider satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a collaborative healthcare leader with strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Oversees daily operations of the GI division across multiple locations to ensure efficient workflows and quality patient care.
- Implements operational goals, budgets, financial plans, and marketing initiatives.
- Partners with physicians and leadership on strategic planning, policy development, and operational decision-making.
- Supervises and supports clinical and administrative staff, including hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management.
- Collaborates with Human Resources and operational leadership to address staffing and employee relations matters.
- Monitors operational performance, identifies areas for improvement, and implements process enhancements to improve patient flow and efficiency.
- Maintains compliance with applicable state, federal, payer, OSHA, and HIPAA requirements.
- Reviews departmental expenses and supports financial accountability within the division.
- Attends leadership and management meetings and communicates relevant updates to staff.
- Promotes a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration or related field.
- Minimum of seven (7) years healthcare experience with progressive leadership responsibility.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience working with electronic health records (EHR) and practice management systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration or related field.
- Previous physician practice or specialty clinic management experience.
- Experience managing multi-site healthcare operations.
