**Facilities Coordinator**
Reports to: Vice President of Finance

**JOB SUMMARY**
The Facilities Coordinator maintains and oversees the Agencys grounds,
buildings, and equipment to ensure the workspace is safe and functional.
Essential Job Functions (responsibilities)
Identifies Agencys facilities needs and performs repairs and maintenance
for all Rainbows locations.
Coordinates repair projects with vendors when needed and supervises
satisfactory delivery of service.
Responds in a timely manner to issues that need immediate attention.
Negotiates and implements contracts with service providers, coordinating
renovations and updates.
Keeps up to date on building codes and safety regulations and ensures
compliance.
Oversees maintenance of Agency grounds, including preparation for
changing weather conditions.
Supervises and approves the work of the Facilities Assistant.
Oversees cleaning of facilities through a vendor arrangement, ensuring
optimal cleanliness.
Monitors safety issues and recommends changes when identified.
Schedules routine inspections as required.
Reports on maintenance, repairs, safety, and other occurrences to
leaders.
Collaborates with Executive Leadership on budgeting for facilities
needs.
Builds and maintains productive working relationships with Agency
Leadership, staff, vendors, and independent contractors.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Technical school education in a related area or equivalent experience
preferred.
Prior Experience Required With Heating, Air Conditioning And Water
systems, washers, dryers, refrigeration and other basic physical plant
and equipment items.
Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations and an understanding
of the principles of preventative maintenance required.
Clean driving record required.
Skills
Strong technical maintenance skills.
Ability to build relationships at all levels, both within the Agency and
with external individuals.
Ability to prioritize tasks, organize work flow and communicate well
with others.
Ability to comply with agency policies and procedures.
Ability to perform the essential duties and associated work tasks within
the physical demand requirements outlined below.
Physical Demands
May require frequent extended work days. Requires some travel between
RUI sites, other community agencies and throughout the state.
Sitting: Up to 1 hour per 8-hour shift. Alternates frequently to walking
and standing.
Standing: 2-3 hours in an 8-hour work shift. Alternates frequently to
walking and occasionally sitting.
Walking: 5-6 hours in an 8-hour shift. Alternates frequently to standing
and occasionally to sitting.
Driving: Daily between agency sites and throughout the community to
perform duties and pick up supplies.
