Rainbow Sign & Banner is looking for a hands-on, safety-first leader to step into a rare opportunity. You'll train directly alongside our current Installation Manager over the few months before he transitions out of the company this February — then take full ownership of leading our Installation Department.
This isn't an entry-level installer job. We're looking for someone ready to lead people, own outcomes, and run a department that clients, crews, and leadership can count on.

As Installation Manager, you'll oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of every installation project — leading a team of installers and working closely with clients, suppliers, and other departments to deliver operational excellence.
What You'll Own
Safety
- Lead weekly, agenda-driven safety and training meetings
- Train and mentor the team on safe, efficient work practices
- Perform regular jobsite and equipment walkarounds
Project Management
- Meet or exceed industry standards on every installation
- Coordinate people, equipment, vehicles, materials, and subcontractors to hit deadlines
- Maintain the installation scheduling calendar to avoid bottlenecks
- Oversee the care and maintenance of installation vehicles, tools, and equipment
Team Leadership
- Lead, Manage & Hold Accountable (LMA) your installation crew
- Set clear goals, provide ongoing training, and lead by example
- Deliver regular, constructive feedback and build a team that takes pride in its work
- Help hire the right people and put them in the right seats
Department Ownership
- Support sales staff with estimating and special installation planning
- Maintain equipment, facility, yard, and inventory organization
- Build systems and processes strong enough that the department runs well even when you're out
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on installation experience
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record
- Comfortable stick welding and using a cutting torch (willing to obtain 3G unlimited plate welding certification with company support)
- OSHA-30 certified, or willing to obtain
- Able to lift 50–75 lbs and safely pull/secure large trailers
- Mechanical aptitude with power tools; basic understanding of 120V and 12–24V electrical systems
- Comfortable with basic computer work (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Calendars); able to type accurately at 45 WPM
- Forklift experience a plus; rigging/craning and excavation experience a plus
- A natural leader who communicates clearly, holds people accountable, and isn't afraid of hard conversations
