Production Supervisor-Coil Shop

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Production Supervisor for our Coil Shop to oversee daily manufacturing operations within a dynamic factory environment. The ideal candidate will lead a team, ensure safety and quality standards are met, and optimize production efficiency. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, leadership skills, and experience in manufacturing settings, particularly with assembly lines and warehouse operations.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate coil shop production activities to meet daily production goals
• Oversee assembly line processes, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards
• Manage team members, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
• Operate and oversee the use of warehouse equipment such as forklifts and power tools
• Conduct inspections of machinery and equipment, performing basic maintenance or coordinating repairs as needed
• Ensure proper inventory management and material handling within the manufacturing facility
• Enforce safety regulations and promote a culture of continuous improvement among staff
• Collaborate with management to develop process improvements and optimize workflow efficiencies

Experience

• Proven experience in manufacturing or factory environments, preferably within a coil or metal processing facility
• Hands-on experience with assembly lines, warehouse operations, and the use of hand tools and power tools
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing setting is highly desirable
• Familiarity with forklift operation and warehouse safety procedures is preferred
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot machinery issues effectively
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
