Position Overview
Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
The Director of Compliance and Sustainability leads Radwell International's efforts to ensure regulatory compliance across all operations while developing and implementing sustainability initiatives that align with our business objectives and industry leadership position.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Execute Compliance Strategy:
o Under the direction of the General Counsel, assist in implementing, and maintaining comprehensive compliance programs across all enterprise operations in accordance with the organization’s direction and the evolving regulatory landscape which shall include international trade, data privacy, anti-corruption, product regulatory, and supply chain compliance
o Monitor changes in regulations affecting parts distribution, repair services, and industrial manufacturing to reflect changes needed in compliance programs
- Policy and Procedure Management:
- Design, develop, and update Radwell’s policies and procedures to ensure adherence to all relevant global laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation:
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify, analyze, and mitigate potential compliance risks and liabilities.
- Monitoring and Auditing:
- Establish and oversee a comprehensive compliance monitoring and auditing program to detect and correct non-compliance.
- Training and Education:
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees at all levels on compliance requirements, internal policies, and ethical conduct.
- Incident Response:
- At the direction of the General Counsel, support investigations into compliance-related incidents, breaches, and potential misconduct.
- Reporting and Communication:
- Prepare regular reports for senior management and stakeholders on compliance activities, risks, and program effectiveness.
- Fostering a Compliance Culture:
- Promote a strong culture of compliance and ethical behavior throughout the organization
Sustainability Support
- Support and execute Radwell's sustainability strategy, establishing measurable goals and KPIs
- Lead initiatives in collaboration with the business and environmental, health and safety teams to reduce environmental impact across operations, including waste reduction, energy efficiency, and carbon footprint management
- Assist with data collection efforts to support Company’s role in the circular economy to extend product lifecycles through repair, refurbishment, and responsible end-of-life management
- Collaborate with supply chain teams to implement sustainable procurement practices
- Produce information to support sustainability reports and communications for internal and external stakeholders
- Identify opportunities to leverage sustainability as a competitive advantage in the industrial parts market
Team Leadership
- Support the administration of a global compliance and sustainability council within the organization
- Provide support to ensure clear execution of training to staff across departments on compliance requirements and sustainability practices
- Collaborate with executive leadership to integrate compliance and sustainability into business strategy
- Partner with HR to develop training programs that foster a culture of compliance
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, business administration, engineering, or related field
- Experience administering a global compliance program at a multinational company
- 8 years of experience in compliance and/or sustainability roles, with at least 5 years in leadership positions
- Demonstrated knowledge of regulations relevant to industrial manufacturing, parts distribution, or repair services
- Proficiency in conducting or supporting export classification reviews, conducting customs classification (HTS and Schedule B)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
- Project management experience with track record of successful program implementation
Preferred
- Master's degree in relevant field
- Licensed customs broker or background supporting operational aspects of international trade compliance a plus
- Professional certifications in compliance management or sustainability (e.g., CCEP, CIPP, PMP, CSR-P, LEED AP)
- Experience in industrial manufacturing, distribution, or repair services industries
- General working knowledge of ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001)
- Experience with sustainability reporting frameworks (GRI, SASB, CDP)
- Background in circular economy principles and practices
Salary Information:
The recruiting base salary range for this full-time position is $130,251.00 - $140,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Additionally, this role is eligible for a year end company bonus based on company goals.

Radwell offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision coverage, for which employees contribute toward the premiums. The Company provides fully paid short- and long-term disability benefits, as well as $50,000 in Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment insurance. These benefits, along with additional voluntary benefits offered through Unum, are available to all regular full-time employees beginning on their first day of employment. All employees are automatically enrolled at 3% into the Company’s 401(k) Plan on the first of the month following 90 days of continuous employment. Employees are eligible for 15 days of PTO annually, which begin accruing on the start date and may be used immediately. Radwell recognizes six Company-paid holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
