Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Linux engineers
- Design and maintain highly available, secure Linux environments
- Drive automation using infrastructure-as-code and configuration management tools
- Oversee system performance, monitoring, and incident response
- Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Development teams to support production systems
- Define and enforce best practices for system reliability, patching, and compliance
- Participate in architecture decisions and capacity planning
Requirements
- 7 years of experience administering Linux systems in production environments
- Prior experience in a leadership or senior technical role
- Strong knowledge of distributions such as RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, or Debian
- Proficiency in Python scripting
- Familiarity with tools like Ansible, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and system performance tuning
- Experience in financial services or other regulated environments is a plus
Salary : $600,000 - $800,000
