- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing attentive and friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and maximize sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring satisfaction with every interaction
- Assist with food handling, sanitation, and food safety protocols to uphold health standards
- Support other team members with bussing tables, cleaning, or opening/closing duties as needed to ensure smooth operations
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
- Strong skills in customer service, guest relations, and sales techniques including upselling
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking seamlessly
- Culinary experience or kitchen background is advantageous but not required
- Excellent communication skills, basic math proficiency for cash handling and cashiering tasks
- Previous host/hostess or serving experience preferred; hospitality background highly valued
