Duties

• Set up breakfast buffet stations, ensuring all food items are fresh, appealing, and properly presented
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, adhering to food safety sanitizing procedures at all times
• Serve guests efficiently using POS systems, taking orders and providing recommendations such as wine pairings or dietary options
• Restock food and beverage items promptly to ensure a continuous flow of service during peak hours
• Assist with food handling and preparation tasks in accordance with food safety management standards
• Monitor weight handling in the workplace when setting up or clearing tables and buffet stations
• Support catering or banquet functions related to breakfast service when required

Requirements

• Previous experience in fine dining, restaurant service, or hospitality preferred, with a focus on food safety and customer satisfaction
• Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and food handling regulations essential for maintaining hygiene standards
• Experience with food preparation, serving, and POS systems to ensure smooth operations
• Ability to handle manual tasks such as lifting weights safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that enhances guest experiences
• Familiarity with culinary practices, dietary accommodations, and catering services is a plus
• Barista experience or wine knowledge is advantageous for offering personalized guest recommendations
