Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and public areas using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment
• Handle various cleaning agents safely, adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) and chemical handling protocols
• Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and specialized floor care procedures to ensure a spotless appearance
• Operate janitorial and industrial cleaning equipment efficiently and safely for optimal sanitation results
• Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, and linens in guest rooms and public spaces
• Follow hotel emergency procedures promptly in case of incidents or safety concerns
• Practice manual handling techniques for heavy lifting tasks while prioritizing safety at all times

Requirements

• Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles with knowledge of hotel housekeeping management practices
• Familiarity with floor cleaning, sanitation standards, and the use of cleaning equipment and chemical agents
• Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and perform manual handling tasks efficiently
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members
• Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols
• Experience with hotel experience, janitorial work, or industrial cleaning is highly desirable
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
