Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Turnaround QA/QC Lead to oversee quality assurance, inspections, mechanical repairs, and documentation throughout industrial turnaround events. The role involves leading inspection and QA/QC teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and coordinating quality activities to support safe and reliable plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead inspection, inspection evaluation, mechanical repair planning, and QA/QC activities throughout turnaround events.
• Validate inspection scopes, test plans, NDE requirements, and repair plans.
• Review inspection findings and coordinate recommendations with turnaround management and engineering teams.
• Manage QA/QC personnel, including API inspectors, risk analysts, NDE personnel, and documentation staff.
• Ensure work packages, inspection reports, repair plans, and required documentation are complete before pre-startup safety reviews (PSSR) and commissioning.
• Coordinate staffing, training, schedules, and turnaround milestones.
• Ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures, site specifications, safety requirements, and industry standards.
• Drive continuous improvement in inspection, NDE, and quality assurance processes.

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of experience supporting turnarounds, outages, shutdowns, or capital projects.
• Proven experience developing or implementing QA/QC, inspection, or mechanical integrity programs in large industrial facilities.
• Strong knowledge of ASME, API, welding QA, and NDE management.
• Strong understanding of industrial safety requirements and industry guidelines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP.
• Excellent leadership, planning, organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, delegate tasks, and motivate teams to meet project expectations.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
