Job Description

Who We Are

For more than a century, we have devoted our energy, innovation, and scientific excellence solely to one business: Beauty.

Our goal is to offer each and every person around the world the best of beauty in terms of quality, efficacy, safety, sincerity and responsibility to satisfy all beauty needs and desires in their infinite diversity.

What You Will Do

Support the Omnichannel Customer Supply Chain (OCS) workstream for Project Nexus, with a primary focus on planning, facilitating, executing, and documenting a comprehensive Value Stream Mapping (VSM) exercise.

You will bring cross-functional partners together to create a fact-based view of current processes, identify waste and bottlenecks, and design a practical future state.

You will ensure that each stage of the VSM—from preparation and workshop facilitation through analysis, documentation, and action planning—is clear, structured, and grounded in validated data.

The role will connect functions across OCS, particularly the Order to Cash team, to align processes, information, systems, handoffs, and ownership.

You will translate VSM findings into a prioritized improvement roadmap that supports better flow, service, visibility, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

VSM Planning and Leadership: Define the scope, objectives, participants, approach, and schedule for current- and future-state VSM activities. Prepare and facilitate workshops with cross-functional stakeholders.

Current-State Documentation: Document end-to-end process steps and flows, including material, information, and decision paths; handoffs; systems; lead times; wait times; queues; process owners; and controls.

Data Collection and Validation: Identify required data, coordinate its collection, and validate assumptions with process owners and subject-matter experts. Establish a performance baseline using measures such as cycle time, order-processing time, OTIF, inventory accuracy, exception rates, and customer impact.

Workshop Documentation: Capture process maps, observations, pain points, assumptions, open questions, decisions, and supporting data in clear, reusable documentation. Maintain version control and confirm accuracy with stakeholders.

Waste and Constraint Analysis: Identify delays, rework, duplication, process variation, capacity constraints, and non-value-added activities. Work with stakeholders to investigate root causes and distinguish verified findings from hypotheses.

Future-State Design: Facilitate the development and documentation of a practical future-state process, including proposed process changes, roles, controls, technology needs, and enabling capabilities.

Improvement Roadmap: Convert findings into prioritized initiatives based on expected value, feasibility, risk, dependencies, and effort. Define milestones, accountable owners, success measures, and next steps.

Project Governance: Track plans, decisions, risks, issues, dependencies, and changes. Provide timely, concise updates to sponsors and stakeholders.

Cross-Functional Alignment: Build shared understanding and consensus across OCS teams and, where applicable, external partners.

Change Enablement: Support stakeholder engagement, communications, training, and adoption planning for redesigned processes.

Benefits Tracking: Monitor implementation progress and work with relevant partners to validate benefits against agreed operational and financial targets.

Continuous Improvement: Establish a repeatable approach for reviewing value-stream performance and identifying further improvements.

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or equivalent.

Experience: 1 years of project management experience, specifically within eCommerce or Retail environments (experience with Customer portals is a significant plus).

AI/Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated experience in implementing software solutions, specifically Agentic AI or advanced automation.

Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Agile Methodology and Scrum is required.

Analytical Rigor: Strong problem-solving skills to devise solutions for complex deduction types and data validation hurdles.

Financial Acumen: Ability to manage project deadlines while meeting strict budget and ROI targets (Projected ROI ≤1 year).

Communication: Excellent skills to present complex AI solutions to both technical developers and non-technical executive staff across multiple geographies.

Leadership: Proven ability to mentor project team members and build consensus across a global organization.
