Position: Corporate Supplier Quality Engineer
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Location: Lewisville TX 75067
Pay Rate: $35.00-$41.00/ Hr on W2

Work Location
On-site 5 days a week for the first 90 days, with potential transition to a hybrid model (1–2 days per week).
Description
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical discipline.
Experience:
• 5 years of experience in Quality, Engineering, or Manufacturing within a GMP environment (pharma, OTC, personal care, or dietary supplements).
• 3 years of audit experience.
Certifications:
• Certification by the American Society for Quality (ASQ) such as Certified Food Safety Quality Auditor (CFSQA), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Pharmaceutical GMP Professional (CPGP), or similar required.
• Certified Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) is a plus.
Job Summary
Contributes to ensuring that providers of outsourced products, materials, and services within the global supplier quality management system meet applicable regulatory and quality requirements.
This is achieved through execution of documented assessments of suppliers, management of supplier corrective actions to address identified gaps, maintenance of audit and supplier data in business systems, and support of quality agreement creation and renewals.
Responsible for quality audit initiatives related to manufacturers and suppliers of materials, products, or services used in development or manufacturing. Represents quality on new product development teams and serves as a key contact for supplier quality and compliance-related issues, working to resolve these issues and improve overall quality.
Responsibilities
• Maintain manufacturer/supplier data in internal systems and ensure all data associated with supplier assessments is current based on available information.
• Analyze supplier data and trends to proactively identify issues.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance supplier performance and ensure effective supplier quality management systems.
• Stay current on regulatory changes that may impact supplier compliance and quality.
• Develop audit plans and execute audit assessments of new and existing global manufacturers and suppliers of ingredients and components to ensure quality and regulatory requirements are met.
• Ensure audit-related documentation is completed and communicated within defined timelines.
• Review and respond to corrective action documentation within targeted timelines.
• Manage supplier corrective action plans through to closure.
• Represent the organization on assigned audits and projects.
• Serve as a global supplier quality resource.
• Collaborate with supplier quality management teams to support regional manufacturing, sourcing, and training needs while maintaining compliance with internal policies.
• Provide internal and external audit support as needed, including audits of manufacturing and distribution centers and international operations.
• Support audits conducted by external regulatory agencies.
• This role requires on-site work at a company facility.
Additional Skills & Abilities
• Knowledge of current GMPs, GLPs, ICH Q7, ICH Q9, ICH Q10, 21 CFR Part 11, and 21 CFR Parts 111, 210, and 211.
• Strong understanding of quality principles, audit protocols, inspection procedures, data integrity principles, and applicable regulations within regulated industries.
• Strong project and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement tools and methodologies.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
• Experience working in matrix organizations across multiple regions and cultures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel (data management and analysis), Outlook, and Teams.
