🚨 Now Hiring: Electrical Technician
📍 Chester, PA (Onsite)
📅 Duration: 6 Months Contract
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician IV to support maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and continuous improvement activities in a manufacturing environment. This role requires strong industrial electrical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
• Support daily, weekly, and shutdown maintenance activities
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems (600V and below)
• Participate in equipment failure analysis and root cause investigations
• Lead and support repairs on high-speed rotating equipment
• Assist with shutdown planning, work preparation, and parts coordination
• Work closely with operators, maintenance personnel, contractors, and suppliers
• Utilize SAP and other maintenance management systems
🔹 Required Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED
• 2-year technical degree with 3 years of industrial electrical experience OR 5 years of related industrial electrical experience
• Strong troubleshooting and maintenance skills for industrial electrical systems
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
• Basic computer skills, mechanical aptitude, and strong safety awareness
🔹 Preferred Skills:
• Experience in manufacturing environments and high-speed production equipment
• SAP experience
• Allen-Bradley ControlLogix (RSLogix 5000) PLCs
• Variable Frequency Drives (Allen-Bradley PowerFlex, ABB Drives)
• Human-Machine Interfaces (PanelView, FactoryTalk)
• Industrial safety systems (GuardLogix, MSR/GSR/SIS)
• OT Networks, Ethernet, and ModBus systems
• Digital sensors, vision systems, and instrumentation devices
• DCS platforms such as Honeywell TDC 3000 and FactoryTalk View
• MCCs, panelboards, and medium/high-voltage electrical distribution systems
