URGENT HIRING For Pharmacist

Job Location: Reno, NV

Job Duration: 9 weeks

Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (8:30-5 or 12:30-9)

Weekend: Every other weekend

Certificate: Doctor of Pharmacy degree required. Licensed by the state pharmacy board.

Weekly Travel Pay Package (resides out of 50 miles) (40hrs)

Weekly Tax Free Stipend to be paid $1,520.96

Weekly Straight Pay (Taxable) $1,240.00

Weekly Gross $2,760.96

Overtime Pay: $90.00/Hr

Local Pay: $54.79/Hr on W2

Job Description:

Shifts: M-F 8:30-5 or 12:30-9. every other weekend both saturday and sunday- 8:30-5.

- Accept and dispense prescription medications.

- Monitor patient medication compliance and over-usage patterns.

- Ensuring that the supply of medicines is within the law.

- Ensuring that the medicines prescribed to patients are suitable.

- Accurately maintain confidential records of all patients ensure proper management of patient records and pharmacy files.

- Advising patients about medicines, including how to take them, what reactions may occur and answering patients' questions.

- Provide consultation on prescription and non-prescription medications for storage, dosage, side effects, and drug interactions.

- Provide services to patients, such as smoking cessation, blood pressure measurement and cholesterol management.

- Educate patients on proper handling of medical devices such as blood pressure monitor and glucose meters.

- Compound medications for external or internal use.

- Prepare sterile solutions following proper procedures.

- Supervise pharmacy staff members including pharmacy technicians, pharmacy clerks, etc.

- Maintain appropriate inventory on pharmaceutical and medical supplies.

- Identify patient?s drug-related problems and effectively communicate with physicians and other healthcare practitioners.

- Work in conjunction with physicians, nurses, other pharmacists, pharmacy interns, etc.

- Doctor of Pharmacy degree required.

- Licensed by the state pharmacy board.
