Pharmacist | Full-Time
We are seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join our team! In this role, you will ensure the safe and effective dispensing of medications while providing exceptional patient care and medication counseling.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday: 8:30 AM–5:00 PM or 12:30 PM–9:00 PM
- Every other weekend: Saturday & Sunday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications and ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations.
- Counsel patients on medication use, dosage, side effects, and drug interactions.
- Monitor medication therapy and identify potential drug-related concerns.
- Compound medications and prepare sterile products as needed.
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality.
- Manage pharmaceutical inventory and ensure medication safety.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required.
- Current, unrestricted Pharmacist license in the practicing state.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations and medication therapy.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and patient counseling skills.
- Sterile compounding experience is a plus.
