URGENT HIRING FOR Med Tech (MT)
Job Location: Windsor, VT
Job Duration: 13 Week
Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (09:00AM - 09:30PM)
Experience/Requirement: Minimum 2 years current Medical Technologist/MT/MLS experience - [Required]
Certificate/License: BLS and MT/MLS Lic
LOCAL PAY: $45-$50/hr
WEEKLY TRAVEL PAY PACKAGE (resides out of 50 miles) (40hrs)
Weekly Tax Free Stipend to be paid: $1,274.00
Weekly Straight Pay (Taxable): $828.00
Weekly Gross: $2,102.00
Job Description:
Client will not consider MLT Traveler Candidates
Your traveler will be expected to:
- Work independently within two weeks of start date AND in a team setting
- Obtain blood specimens
- Maintain knowledge of specific specimen requirements
- Follow correct order of draw based upon tube type and special handling of tests
- Utilize proper resources for obtaining specimen requirement information
- Collect and enter off-site blood work into system
- Complete and process a variety of forms
- Obtain pre-authorization and patient signature
- Prepare specimens for in-lab testing or off-site shipment
- Ensure blood-drawing stations are clean and well stocked

- Minimum 2 years current Medical Technologist/MT/MLS experience - [Required]
- National Certification (NCCT NOT Accepted) - [Required]
- ABILITY TO WORK INDEPENDENTLY/HIT THE GROUND RUNNING - REQUIRED
- HIGH PROFICIENCY IN TESTING IN ALL AREAS OF LAB (MUST BE AN MT "GENERALIST") - [REQUIRED]
- High proficiency in PHLEBOTOMY, chemistry, hematology, blood bank, urinalysis, and read Gram stains/plate culture specimens in microbiology. [Required]
- PHLEBOTOMY/VENIPUNCTURE EXPERIENCE - REQUIRED - PHLEBOTOMY CHECKLIST [REQUIRED]!
- Travel experience – [Strongly preferred]
- This is a small community without public transport. Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle. This is a firm requirement.
- Perm address must be included in profile
- Any/All RTO must be included in profile. ALL SCHEDULING REQUESTS MUST BE MADE AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION. Facility will NOT approve scheduling requests at/after time of offer/at interview. Please obtain this information prior to submittal. Requests after offer may lead to rescinded offer
