Key Responsibilities
- Assist mechanics in insulating piping systems, including Chilled Water, Hot Water Heating (HWH), Glycol, Domestic Water, Rainleader, and associated systems.
- Help with insulation of equipment such as pumps, valves, and tanks.
- Support in applying duct wrap and duct board insulation to ductwork.
- Aid with outdoor insulation applications, including preparation and installation of protective jacketing.
- Measure, cut, and handle insulation materials under the direction of mechanics.
- Load, unload, and stage materials and tools for daily work.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow instructions, safety standards, and company policies at all times.
- Work as part of a team to complete projects on schedule.
- Previous construction or insulation experience is a plus but not required.
- Willingness to learn insulation techniques, tools, and trade practices.
- Ability to read and follow basic instructions and safety guidelines.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to lift materials, climb ladders, bend, and work in various conditions.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
- Transportation to job sites is required.
- OSHA or other safety training certifications.
