Job Description:
We are hiring Licensed Psychiatric Technicians (LPT) to provide behavioral and psychiatric care in a correctional facility setting under the supervision of RN/MD.
Requirements:
- Active California LPT License
- Minimum 12 months of recent experience (within last 3 years)
- Experience in mental health / psychiatric care preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide basic psychiatric and behavioral nursing care
- Administer medications and treatments (including injections)
- Monitor and document vital signs and patient condition
- Assist in treatment planning and therapy sessions
- Observe and report changes in patient behavior
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Ensure a safe and secure environment
