We are hiring a Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) for a correctional facility setting.
Work Setting: Onsite – Correctional Facility
Schedule Options:
- Thurs–Mon: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
- Sat–Wed: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
- Thurs–Mon: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Responsibilities:
- Provide basic psychiatric and behavioral care to patients
- Administer medications, monitor vitals, and document care
- Observe and report changes in patient condition
- Assist with treatment plans and participate in team meetings
- Support group/individual therapy and maintain a safe environment
Requirements:
- Active California LPT License
- Minimum 12 months experience (within last 3 years, excluding internship)
- BLS certification (AHA)
- Strong communication and documentation skills
