Responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Partner with business stakeholders to clarify vague or exploratory requests and turn them into structured analyses.
- Collaborate with department leaders to uncover their true business goals, ensuring reporting and analysis are tailored to the why behind each request.
- Develop, review, and refine new and existing Power BI reports to align with organizational goals.
- Continuously evaluate processes, tools, and systems to enhance accuracy and transparency.
- Collaborate with Finance, Sales, and Operations to understand business operations, driving performance and improving overall company margins.
- Lead cross-departmental projects that directly impact company strategy.
- Translate complex data into actionable recommendations for leadership.
- Identify trends, opportunities, and risks to help guide business decisions.
- Contribute to shaping how data is collected, visualized, and interpreted across the company.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field (Finance, Business, Statistics, Supply Chain, Economics), with experience in data analytics or business intelligence preferred
- Knowledge of the logistics industry a plus
- Experience with Power BI, SQL, Excel, or other analytics tools
- Passion for translating data into real-world impact
- Strong mathematical aptitude, analytical skills and strategic thinking
- Effective problem solving and situation analysis skills
- Collaborative mindset, thrives in dynamic environments
- Strong written, verbal and graphic communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate technical information to varying audiences
- Ability to maintain attention to detail on multiple, simultaneous projects/priorities required
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
