Job Summary
We are looking for crew leaders for mowing routes. A individual that can play a vital role in maintaining beautiful, healthy outdoor spaces. This energetic position involves performing a variety of landscaping and lawn maintenance tasks to ensure properties look their best. Whether mowing lawns, or operating power tools, your work will directly contribute to creating inviting and well-kept environments for clients. Duties
- Mow lawns using push mowers, zero turn
- mowers, or other equipment to achieve a neat, even appearance.
- Trim trees, shrubs, and hedges with hand tools or power tools to promote healthy growth and enhance visual appeal.
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as edging, weeding, planting, and mulching to keep outdoor areas vibrant.
- Assist with snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways safe and accessible.
- Use hand tools like shovels, rakes, pruners, and hedge trimmers efficiently and safely for various landscaping tasks.
- Conduct routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met.
Qualifications
- Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with power tools and landscaping equipment.
- Prior experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of horticulture principles and tree care techniques.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery such as skid loaders or snowplows is a plus but not required; training will be provided if necessary.
- Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
- Possessing your pesticide license is not a must but highly encouraged.
