Greenwise is a fast-growing, sustainability-focused landscape and lawn care service provider. We were founded in 2007 and have grown to provide a full landscape service offering to both residential and commercial clients. Today, we have three locations in Evanston, IL, Chicago, IL and Milwaukee, WI with 110 team members across our branches. Our company continues to grow significantly as homeowners and property owners turn towards sustainable, organic and battery-powered landscape services.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate leadership, teamwork, attention to detail and organizational skills
- Communicating proactively and effectively with clients and teammates
- Lead a crew on our high-touch landscape maintenance sites
- Actively train and mentor our landscape maintenance team
- Assist in developing and executing technical training sessions
- Operating trucks and equipment in a safe manner
- Applying product according to label specifications
- Striving to perform work within budgeted time and materials allowance
- Assisting with other activities including, but not limited to, mowing, trimming, edging, blowing, weeding, pruning, mulching, planting and watering
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Horticulturist role
- Valid driver's license for transportation to various job sites*
- Thorough understanding of landscape maintenance methods and techniques, tools and equipment
- Knowledge of plant material, including annuals, perennials, shrubs, trees and turf
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Associate’s degree in related field, preferred
- Wisconsin Pesticide 3.0 Applicator License, Preferred
*Employees who will be operating a company vehicle are required to have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
