R.J. Grondin is seeking Heavy Truck Technicians to maintain and repair our fleet of construction equipment, trucks, trailers, and support vehicles. Positions are available for developing, experienced, and senior-level technicians.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs.
- Troubleshoot diesel, hydraulic, electrical, brake, drivetrain, and related systems.
- Complete shop and field repairs on heavy equipment and trucks.
- Maintain accurate service records and properly care for tools and work areas.
- Follow company safety and environmental procedures.
Qualifications
- Heavy equipment, diesel, truck, fleet, automotive, or related mechanical experience preferred.
- Ability to safely use hand, power, and diagnostic tools.
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
- CDL, inspection license, technical training, and relevant certifications are a plus.
Technician level and compensation are based on demonstrated skill, diagnostic ability, and experience.

Pay: $24.00 - $40.00 per hour

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- heavy truck maintenance: 5 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
- Maine State Inspection License (Preferred)
