Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Development Project Manager located in Homestead, Florida.
The Development Project Manager will oversee multiple residential development and construction projects from pre-development through completion. This individual will be responsible for managing schedules, budgets, permitting, inspections, consultants, contractors, and overall project execution while ensuring all projects meet company standards, timelines, and regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and capable of making sound decisions in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
* Manage multiple residential development projects simultaneously.
* Coordinate all phases of development, including planning, permitting, construction, inspections, and project closeout.
* Monitor project schedules, budgets, and milestones to ensure successful delivery.
* Work closely with municipalities, consultants, contractors, engineers, architects, and vendors.
* Expedite permitting and entitlement processes when necessary.
* Conduct site visits and oversee project progress.
* Identify and resolve issues before they impact schedules or budgets.
* Prepare regular project status reports for executive leadership.
* Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications
* Minimum 7 years of experience in real estate development, land development, and construction project management.
* Residential development experience required.
* Demonstrated success managing projects from acquisition and entitlement through construction completion.
* Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
* Familiarity with permitting, inspections, and municipal approval processes.
* Strong knowledge of residential construction practices and local building codes.
* Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
* Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Candidate must be highly motivated, detail-oriented, resourceful, and capable of making quick, informed decisions.
