About The Role

About Your Responsibilities
You will:
- Serve as the primary solution design authority for Qyrus, translating customer business and technical requirements into platform‑aligned architectures.
- Design end‑to‑end solution blueprints, including workflows, integrations, automation strategies, and platform configurations.
- Partner with Sales, Forward Deployment, and Client Success teams to support pre‑sales discovery, proof‑of‑value engagements, and complex customer implementations.
- Deeply understand the Qyrus platform, including AI‑powered and GenAI capabilities, and articulate how those capabilities solve customer problems.
- Lead technical discovery sessions with customer stakeholders to uncover requirements, constraints, and success criteria.
- Validate solution feasibility by collaborating closely with Product and Engineering teams, influencing roadmap decisions when needed.
- Create and maintain solution documentation, architecture diagrams, and best‑practice guides.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers, helping them design scalable, future‑proof testing and quality engineering strategies.
- Support complex deployments and escalations, providing architectural guidance for advanced use cases.
- Capture market and customer feedback, translating insights into product and solution improvements.
You bring:
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field, with 7–10 years of experience in solution architecture, technical consulting, or SaaS platform roles
- Strong experience designing solutions for enterprise or mid‑market SaaS platforms
- A solid foundation in software testing, QA, test automation, or SDLC‑related technologies
- The ability to bridge technical depth and business context, communicating clearly with both engineers and executives
- Experience working closely with Product and Engineering to influence product direction
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with comfort navigating ambiguity
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A consultative mindset with a strong customer‑value orientation
- Experience with Selenium, Appium, API testing, CI/CD pipelines, or DevOps tooling
- Exposure to AI or GenAI‑powered platforms
- Prior experience in pre‑sales, solutions engineering, or forward deployment roles
- Salary from: 120-160k
- Hybrid work in our Chicago Office
