Buyer - IT Procurement

The Opportunity Reporting to Director, IT Procurement, you will manage the identification of potential suppliers, preparation of RFP's You will also conduct negotiations on all contracts relating to the IT categories across all businesses. You will develop supplier contracts and supplier relationships that maximize value and minimize risk across all of the QVC Group's global businesses, including QVC, HSN and Cornerstone brands. This role is hybrid remote (4-6xs a month at our West Chester, PA office.) Our Procurement team's primary focus is to support organization's objectives, by managing the procurement process and supply base efficiently. The team has high goals for quality, cost and value. This team works closely with internal clients and external partners to identify suppliers that offer the best service. Your Impact Develop the procurement strategy for assigned commodities to help determine the best practice for the assigned commodities and will help to guide Total Procurement Value across the organization. Partner with QVC Group's global internal clients to help negotiate contracts with external suppliers Develop relationships with important partners across the QVC Group's global businesses Evaluate current suppliers and develop new suppliers based on quality, service, price, innovation, and value added capabilities, as well as the supplier's reputation and history. Manage existing contracts for all commodities within scope to ensure perceived value is being realized. Evaluate strategies based on changing market conditions and provide inputs during important sourcing activities, including internal and external analysis and negotiations for all categories in scope. Communicate market dynamics to Procurement Leadership Team, Category Leaders and Business Unit Leaders ensuring alignment of category strategies. What You Bring 2+ years of work experience or comparable education in procurement/strategic sourcing. Hand on experience buying IT products and services including Software and Hardware (i.e. Desktops/Notebooks, Servers, Storage, and Networking/Telephony) Working knowledge of eProcurement systems and advanced reporting tools Knowledge of contracts across all categories (Hardware, Software, Support & Services) including knowledge of software licensing agreements and SaaS agreements and negotiations. 1+ years experience leading the procurement negotiation process.

Salary : $66,000 - $97,000
