Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning & Sanitizing: Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize all areas, including classrooms, hallways, offices, and especially restrooms, restocking supplies as needed.
- Waste Management: Empty trash cans and dispose of waste properly.
- Maintenance: Change light bulbs, ceiling tiles, and perform minor repairs; maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Event Setup: Arrange furniture and equipment (tables, chairs) for meetings, classes, and special events.
- Groundskeeping: Assist with picking up debris, emptying outdoor receptacles, and general exterior upkeep.
- Safety & Security: Lock doors after cleaning; report safety concerns; ensure proper use of cleaning chemicals.
Work Environment & Skills
- Physical Demands: Involves standing, bending, walking, and occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs or more).
