Job Description
As a PTZ Systems Technician, you will focus on building and testing prototype positioners, systems and electronic boards. You will be responsible for testing new cameras, motors, sensors and prepare test reports.
Responsibilities for the position include, but are not limited to,
· Building and testing prototype positioners and camera systems in the lab. Preparing test reports and system documents.
· Programming and testing microcontroller based electronic circuit boards.
· Prepare wire harnesses drawings and build and test the harness. Extensive crimping and soldering experience required.
· Testing motors, camera, sensors and electronic boards.
· Testing and replacing mechanical components including gears, bearings, and chains along with lubrication of mechanical components as part of troubleshooting problems.
· Testing and adjusting/ replacing camera sensors and lens for problematic units.
· Support customers over the phone about how to use/configure our products and troubleshooting for issues in the field.
· Move up to 50lbs as well as stand and walk during shifts.
· As and when required, help manufacturing to test newly built products.
Basic Qualifications:
· Associate’s degree in electronic or robotics technology (or similar)
· 2 years of experience with motor Controls, electro-mechanical system, and standard electrical components, circuit cards and wiring.
· High school or equivalent diploma with 5 years of similar experience.
· RS232/ RS422/ I2C/ SPI communication experience required.
· Computer and other device ethernet networking knowledge required.

Pay:
Commensurate with experience and professionalism level. Range starting from $20 per hour.

Travel:
