Electro-Mechanical Reliability Technician — Bartlett, IL 60103A day in the roleYou arrive on the floor and start with a quick walk-through of the production lines. You scan for anything out of the ordinary, review scheduled PMs, and line up the tools you’ll need. As the day unfolds, you’ll diagnose a motor that’s tripping, tune a hydraulic circuit to eliminate chatter, and collaborate with operators to get a machine back to peak performance. Before you wrap up, you log accurate maintenance notes and help position a new piece of equipment for installation.What you’ll tackleKeep manufacturing equipment operating by executing routine service and corrective repairs.Quickly troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to reduce downtime.Complete inspections and preventive maintenance to sustain optimal throughput and quality.Partner with production to resolve equipment concerns and prioritize urgent needs.Document all work performed, parts used, and findings with clear records.Assist with setting, aligning, and commissioning new machinery as needed.Champion safety procedures while maintaining a tidy, organized workspace.What makes you a great fitHigh school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications in industrial maintenance are a plus.Hands-on experience in an industrial maintenance or closely related role.Solid understanding of mechanical assemblies, electrical systems, and hydraulics.Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, drawings, and schematics.Strong troubleshooting mindset with excellent attention to detail.Clear communicator and dependable team contributor.Flexibility to support production needs, including some weekends and on-call rotations when required.LocationThis position is based at our manufacturing facility in Bartlett, IL 60103.
