Summary
- A global trading organization is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Administrator to maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction through a blend of accounting, sales processing, supply chain, and communication activities. The role is integral to supporting export operations, inventory management, and customer relations in a fast-paced, international environment
Essential Duties
- Organize trial orders for export to international markets
- Coordinate with packaging companies to ensure export packaging requirements are met
- Collaborate with internal compliance teams to arrange export freight
- Communicate with overseas parent company as needed
- Calculate material orders using internal systems, place orders with suppliers, and manage delivery schedules
- Control inventory by balancing customer demand with supplier schedules to avoid shortages or excess stock
- Analyze data to proactively identify and resolve potential issues before they impact customers
- Place sales orders and arrange timely deliveries, ensuring customer requirements are met
- Calculate pricing for customers using supplier quotes and standardized quotations; prepare sales and gross profit budgets
- Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with customers and suppliers through daily follow-up and communication
- Attend and facilitate meetings, including presenting information to groups
- Set up new parts in the database using confirmed customer specifications
- Facilitate just-in-time (JIT) deliveries by coordinating with suppliers, transportation companies, and customers
- Assist with accounting and quality issues, supporting other departments as needed
Working Hours, Working Style
- Standard full-time hours, typically Monday to Friday. Hybrid workschedle 4x in office 1x WFH.
- Primarily on-site/in-office work is required, with in-person collaboration considered essential for team interaction, learning, and relationship building
Working Location
- Princeton, Indiana
- Travel to client sites or trade shows as necessary
Salary/Benefit
- $50,000 - $60,000 per year

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (supply chain management preferred, but not mandatory)
- 0–3 years of experience in a related field is a plus
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in group settings
- Knowledge of flat roll metals (steel and aluminum) is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with J.D. Edwards is a plus
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and preferably Japanese
- Comfortable presenting information and facilitating meetings
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and perform duties requiring walking, standing, and occasional bending or reaching
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
