The Account Representative will primarily support and manage carbon products trading activities and will report directly to the Department General Manager and/or Account Manager. This role is responsible for maintaining and expanding existing business, strengthening client and supplier relationships, and contributing to strategic growth initiatives across North America.

The Account Representative will primarily support and manage carbon products trading activities and will report directly to the Department General Manager and/or Account Manager. This role is responsible for maintaining and expanding existing business, strengthening client and supplier relationships, and contributing to strategic growth initiatives across North America.
Responsibilities
- Manage the existing import business of cathode blocks to Aluminum smelters in North America.
- Manage the existing import business of graphite electrode and related carbon material to Steel mills in North America.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers through regular communication and both virtual and in-person engagement.
- Coordinate and support site visits, including facilitating visits between client and supplier facilities.
- Analyze global steel and aluminum markets to identify trends, competitive dynamics, and new business opportunities.
- Support strategic planning and business development efforts, including identifying opportunities for market expansion.
- Manage daily operational processes, including credit applications, insurance claims, budget planning and track financial performance, including preparation of reports.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
- Perform additional responsibilities and special projects as needed.

- Required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent sales and customer service skills with proven negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication ability with internal colleagues.
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to create, implement and monitor budgets.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office related software.
- Preferred
- Knowledge of Aluminum Smelting Operation.
- Knowledge of Steel EAF operation.
- Bilingual Japanese skills.
Pay range and compensation package
$81K - 98K
