RN House Supervisor

The RN House Supervisor oversees a medium-sized nursing team, typically between 6 to 15 staff members, managing night shift operations with a focus on patient care and clinical coordination. Reporting directly to the Nurse Manager, this role involves managing emergency incidents, ensuring healthcare compliance, and coordinating patient bed placement, admissions, and transfers to maintain seamless hospital operations.

20 Weeks Contract with the option to extend

Shifts: 4x10-Hour (20:00 - 06:30)

This request is for a Bed Placement RN Coordinator role to function in the Admit / Transfer Center 

Responsibilities

• Manage and support nursing staff during night shifts
• Oversee patient care delivery and clinical assessments
• Coordinate patient bed placement, admissions, and transfers
• Monitor compliance with healthcare regulations and policies
• Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and leadership
• Lead regular emergency incident management and response
• Ensure quality control across nursing practices and procedures
• Schedule nursing staff and manage shift coverage

Qualifications

• 1 years of nursing experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Registered Nurse (RN) License
• PALS certification
• Strong patient care and clinical assessment skills
• Excellent communication and time management abilities
• Knowledge of healthcare compliance standards
• Experience with patient placement and coordination
