Associate Attorney - General Litigation

The Litigation Associate will support the firm’s IP litigation practice group by managing a variety of legal tasks related to intellectual property disputes. While a technical background is not required, candidates should possess a solid foundation in general litigation and demonstrate strong legal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle complex matters independently.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

• Draft and review legal motions, pleadings, and briefs for IP disputes
• Handle discovery requests, including drafting and responding to document requests, interrogatories, and depositions
• Assist with trademark oppositions, cancellations, and related proceedings before the USPTO and other forums
• Conduct legal research and prepare memos on non-patent intellectual property issues
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
• Assist attorneys with trial preparation and case review as needed
  
  

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• 2–4 years of general litigation experience
• Strong analytical and writing skills
• Ability to handle multiple matters efficiently and independently
• Competent in legal research and document management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Must be licensed in OHIO
