They perform Magnetic Particle and Liquid Penetrant Inspections to detect surface and near-surface defects in materials.
What You Will Do
- Perform fluorescent and visible magnetic particles (MPI) and liquid penetrant (LPI/FPI) inspections on components.
- Prepare surfaces, apply developers/dyes, and ensure proper magnetization.
- Interpret, evaluate, and report test results for acceptance or rejection based on industry/customer standards
- Calibrate and verify NDT equipment daily/weekly.
- Previous experience of 2-3 years in a manufacturing
- NDT Level II Certification in MPI and LPI per Aerospace specifications required
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 2-year technical degree is a plus
